So, you might ask, what is Golgotha Bridge?

Let’s start with the first word there. Golgotha is an ancient Aramaic word meaning place of the skull or skull hill. The physical place called Golgotha has a side which actually looks like a skill, and was the location where Jesus was executed on a cross. While the Roman Empire and the Sanhedrin have their own records detailing why, the ultimate goal was to be a perfect sacrifice for the worlds sin.

This of course goes back through the ancient Jewish practice of animal sacrifice all the way back to the garden of Eden where an animal was killed to cover the shame of Adam and Eve after their minds were awakened through the wrong they had done. The message is clear, sin equals death, but God is willing to suffer to save you. Yes, you.

Then there is the side of things where Jesus lived an entire life, and through death finished that life, having never sinned. The only perfect man to ever live. He then defeats death by re-spawning after a short period of time like a person killed in a video game. Placed on a cross and dies late Friday, gone all Saturday, and back at it Sunday morning. Death and Sin are forever defeated by the blood of Jesus.

So that’s Golgotha, what about the bridge part? A bridge is a piece of technology which allows people to cross from one side of something to another. Jesus was the bridge that connects us to salvation, and this channel is here to connect you to him.

This projects tag line is “Connecting Modern Minds to Ancient Truth.” By that I mean that I hope to connect fallen modern day people to God’s will through the power of Jesus’ willing sacrifice using current language as well as scientific and technological references that your modern frame of mind will understand.

Regarding these technical references, you may hear me reference video games or simulation hypothesis often? Am I teaching that we are literally NPC’s inside some game on an aliens computer? No, of course not. But it’s a great metaphor. The level of permanence and importance between what happens on earth as compared to the heavenly realm is about the same as a video game to real life. Once that switch is flipped, nothing you acquired here will matter. The main difference is that you have the ability to transcend this world and live forever.

You can browse the articles and videos to learn more about these topics over on the website, GolgothaBridge.com, which links to various articles and videos, and even a forum to post questions and get answers from a real community.

After all it’s recorded in Matthew 18:20 that Jesus said “For where there are two or three gathered together — to my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
